Central India’s International Education & Skill Development Summit 2016 was held on 10th and 11th March 2016 as a joint effort of VDIEC Global Connect Pvt. Ltd. and UK Trade & Investment along with MPCVET and Nagar Nigam Bhopal. It was an attempt to facilitate an intellectual gathering of thoughtful and scholastic experts from Madhya Pradesh Government bodies and delegates from the UK.
These dignitaries got together to spread the scope of practical solutions for sustainable skill development through overseas education and global innovation. The summit was a perfect opportunity to spread awareness and exchange ideas. Central India’s International Education & Skill Development Summit 2016 exclusively focused on important developments in foreign education and focused on the challenges in the area of global education and skill development.
The dignitaries included; Chief Guest, Shri. Uma Shankar Gupta- Hon. Minister for Higher Education, Technical Education, and Skill Development; Shri. Alok Sharma- Mayor, Bhopal; Mr. Surjeet Singh Chouhan and Andy Barr- First Secretary, British High Commission.
VDIEC aims to become a model social enterprise by making global education accessible to all through spreading awareness about the importance of International Education, CSR in education and CSR in skill development. The Make in India initiative aims at adopting a transformative and innovative approach in Higher Education, as well as emerging as a single largest provider of global talent and VDIEC can serve as business promoters not only in India but also among foreign educational institutions and communities. The Indian Education Sector is all set to witness an exponential growth in the next few years and India will be home to the world’s second largest graduate talent pipeline and the entire VDIEC team is all set to make use of this opportunity and play a significant role in becoming a master collaborator between the government, foreign universities, international agencies and students.
